FAQs
1. How do I join the Pulse National Teams?
Two different stages – off season and during the season. Between April and September, we are always looking for players with character and drive to join the following seasons team.
This can be through our open sessions in that period, or the trials that we will run during the summer term.
Once the season has started, there are still opportunities to join the team – while trials are over, the open sessions provide the best way to make the team.
2. My child has never played basketball, but is interested in learning/joining
Our Saturday programs are designed for this! We accept everyone at every level of basketball. Our community sessions focus on working on the fundamentals of the game, and each week the games played will introduce players to the rules of basketball.
Our coaches and player leaders want to see new players in and encourage the growth of the sport we love!
3. Is there a trial to join? What do I need?
Our Saturday programs are open to all! While we have a competitive program which do have trials, we also take pride in our community programs, previously winning Community Club of the Year in London.
All you need is to turn up and be ready to play, the first session is always a taster, there is no commitment. We hope you want to keep coming, and if you do, you can register HERE.
4. Do you only train on Saturday's? I see you have other sessions listed.
We play a lot of basketball throughout the week. Our midweek sessions are our team sessions, the path to which you can reach through the open sessions. Sundays are our National League home games, in which (covid-19 pending) we encourage you to come down and watch and support the club!
5. Do you provide school sessions?
Yes! Coach Damian has been coaching in many schools in the Ealing and Hounslow borough for the past 5 years, focusing on primary levels from ages 7 to 11.
We have afterschool, lunch time provisions and basketball for P.E. We additionally have run in school tournaments and prepared teams for the Youth games! For more information, please contact Coach Damian email or phone.
